Disturbing footage surfaces as mother and son are charged after allegedly sleeping together for years

During a routine domestic dispute call-out, police discovered that a mother and son had been having a sexual relationship for years.

In an argument about him stealing her phone, Christina Clemens, 46, had reported being pushed by her adult son Shane, 22, but as they questioned the pair in custody, something much more sinister was uncovered.

The incestuous relationship had been going on for years

According to the Daily Mail, Shane told officers that he had been in a sexual relationship with his mother for years and the pair had hidden it from his stepfather, who lived in the same house.

He also explained that the mother and son had been estranged, and only reunited when he came to live with them aged 18.

While neighbors who lived in the mobile home community on the outskirts of Lakeland, Florida, noted that Shane largely kept himself to himself, Tina was far more outgoing.

However, over the last four years, Christina’s partner, Terry, has begun noticing the mother and son getting closer.

Later in the investigation, Terry told authorities that he had no idea about the incestuous relationship going on under his own roof, and even claimed he was happily married.

Despite their secrecy, the stepfather had suspicions

Local news station CBS12 reported that, according to Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd, Terry told officers that he thought it was suspicious that Christina and Shane would go into the primary bedroom together and lock the door.

He also confessed that they must have been careful about not getting caught by having sex when no one else was home.

Shane confessed that cameras inside the living room and bedroom had even recorded some of their steamy encounters.

Christina eventually admitted to police that she had been intimate with her son 'only about 100 times'.

Both Christina and Shane have been charged with third-degree felony incest, which is punishable by up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

In phone calls recovered by cops, Christina allegedly asked Shane if he wanted to 'stop doing what we do.”'

Then, she allegedly told him to convince Terry that the allegations weren't true, saying: "You need to tell Terry that you're a liar and you only said that because you were mad."

While she was waiting for Shane to be released from custody, she also said in a voice note: “Before you get in my car, when I pick you up, I want that phone in my hand, because I will delete all evidence in that phone.”
