Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert has hit back at claims that she had sexual relations with male and female staff members.
The Colorado representative has continued to leave Americans shocked with the number of allegations made against her.
Boebert, who made headlines earlier this year for asking why everyone was 'so horny' when being asked about Congressmen Eric Swalwell and Tony Gonzales, who stepped down after sexual misconduct allegations were brought against them.
Now, Boebert is denying a sworn ethics complaint that claims she has had sex with three congressional staffers.
It additionally alleges that an approximately $200,000 payment was made to one of them to stop her from filing an ethics complaint.
The complaint, which is dated September 17, was filed by David Wheeler of American Muckrakers with the U.S. House Committee on Ethics.
The complaint names Clarice Navarro Ratzlaff, Raven Finegan, and Jeffrey Small, but Boebert staunchly denies these claims.
Boebert's representative told TMZ on Saturday (September 19) that the allegations are “utterly false,” claiming that the complaint was a politically motivated effort to make headlines.
Navarro Ratzlaff has already come forward to deny the allegations, while the House Ethics Committee has not yet confirmed the allegations to be fact.
It claims that Boebert had a relationship with Navarro Ratzlaff, while she worked as her district director from January 2021 to January 2025.
The complaint also alleges Boebert's relationships with Raven Finegan and Jeffrey Small, both while they worked under her.
It claims that around $200,000 was paid to Navarro Ratzlaff after she said she planned to file an ethics complaint, with the payment meant to stop this from happening.
Boebert has publicly denied these suggestions, as her representative told the entertainment outlet: “Congresswoman Lauren Boebert rejects these allegations as utterly false and there is no truth to them whatsoever.
“This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait.”
Speaking to the Colorado Times Recorder, Navarro Ratzlaff said: “These allegations regarding me are entirely false, defamatory, and beyond ridiculous. There is absolutely no truth to any part of this claim.”
The complaint states that Ratzlaff was the Congresswoman's district director during the period in question.
Public records and past news reports were cited, though the local publication said the two stories cited as part of the complaint didn't allege an inappropriate relationship between Boebert and Navarro Ratzlaff.
Both Raven Finegan and Jeffrey Small worked under Boebert, with Finegan working in Boebert's congressional office, while Small was her chief of staff from 2021 to 2025.
In the complaint, the House rule cited bars a member from engaging in a sexual relationship with a House employee who works under that member’s supervision.
