Brit model sues Back to the Future star Crispin Glover - claims he 'choked her in headlock' and wanted her to be his 'sex slave'
Back to the Future star Crispin Glover is facing explosive legal action from a British model who alleges he “choked her in a headlock” and sought to make her his “sex slave".
According to court documents obtained by various outlets, Jane Doe, 30, claims she first connected with the 61-year-old actor on social media in 2015.
She says Glover made “strange advances” and repeatedly encouraged her to move to Los Angeles. Despite this, she says she viewed him “as a friend” at the time, even as she describes what she considered to be "unusual" behavior in their exchanges.
The pair allegedly met in person for the first time in 2023 in Dresden, Germany, where she claims he “showed off several items of Nazi memorabilia from his collection.”
Despite this, she continued contact with him, alleging that he made “promises of a new life where she could start over and have a career in the entertainment industry through some sort of business relationship with him".
In her suit, Doe said the Charlie's Angels actor “lured” her with the promise of “a home and a job” if she relocated from the UK to Los Angeles in early 2024 to work as his assistant, per Daily Mail.
But upon arrival at his “sizable” Silverlake residence, she reportedly “found herself in a disturbing situation where Mr. Glover wanted to control her actions and track her whereabouts and basically serve him as a live-in girlfriend/sex slave”.
She further claims she “relied entirely on Mr. Glover’s promises for money and shelter,” and that he expected her to work for him for free while discouraging her from leaving the house.
Mosque Visit And Alleged Lockout
Doe, who has described herself as a practicing Muslim with “autism spectrum disorder,” claimed that tensions escalated in early March 2024.
She said that when she told Glover she intended to attend services at a mosque, he warned her he would lock her out of the house if she left.
Not believing he would follow through, she went anyway. Upon returning, she “discovered that she was locked out and that Mr. Glover wanted her to find a new place to live”.
The complaint alleges that Glover evicted Doe from his home “without notice or warning of any kind, rendering her homeless.”
Claims Of Physical Assault
The most serious allegations stem from what happened next.
Doe claims she attempted to re-enter the property to retrieve her belongings and her pet cats.
Per her lawsuit, the River's Edge star was “angry and agitated,” and she alleges that he “attacked her, grabbing her neck and choking her in a headlock, leaving a visible wound and scar on her neck.”
The complaint includes a photograph of the mark she alleges was caused by Glover.
She further accuses the actor of filing a “false police report,” claiming he falsely portrayed her as an “unlawful intruder” despite being a tenant who was “at all points invited and lawfully residing in her home”.
In addition to this, the model's complaint states that his filing of a restraining order was “malicious” and “fraudulent,” and “was swiftly dismissed for failure to prosecute.”
She also said news of the restraining order went “viral,” causing “permanent damage” to her career and reputation.
But even after all that, she alleges Glover continued to contact and “harass” her in an effort to rekindle a sexual relationship.
Glover's Team Responds
Glover’s legal team has forcefully denied the allegations. In a statement to the Daily Mail, his lawyer said: “Mr. Glover denies these baseless allegations in the strongest possible terms."
"The reality is that on March 2, 2024, Mr. Glover was the victim of an unprovoked felony assault by Jane Doe at his Los Angeles residence. Mr. Glover called LAPD, which came to the scene, investigated, and arrested Jane Doe."
The statement continued: “These facts are documented by law enforcement records and by the restraining order filed by Mr. Glover against Jane Doe at that time. Mr. Glover intends to vigorously defend himself and pursue all available relief. He is confident the judicial process will expose this lawsuit as a meritless fabrication."
However, law enforcement sources told TMZ that while police did respond to the actor's home on March 2, 2024, following reports that a man and a woman had assaulted him, no one was arrested.
Doe has filed suit against Glover for battery, fraud, malicious prosecution, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and wrongful eviction.
She is also suing him for allegedly violating California’s civil rights law, the Bane Act, by using “threats” of “violence” to stop her from exercising her right to come and go as she pleased, and by trying to “coerce” her into a “captive, sexual relationship.”
In the complaint, she demands a jury trial to determine special and general damages, as well as costs for the suit, attorneys’ fees, and any further relief the court deems appropriate.
