An Australian escort has shared which professions make men better at sex in her professional opinion.
Katija Cortez, 28, a sex worker based in Sydney, started to see a common theme after years of seeing all types of men.
She compiled her top four professions that are generally excellent in bed - and some of them may surprise you.
Katija told news.com.au that in at number four were personal trainers - a profession you might have imagined would rank higher - given that they're fit and active, and - presumably - have lots of stamina.
She explained: "This means they have good strength and stamina and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This translates fantastically in the bedroom."
In at third are medical professionals as they have a better-than-standard understanding of how the human body works.
"This should come as no surprise that anyone with a university level understanding of female anatomy would be incredibly good in bed because they know exactly where everything is,” she stated.
"These men know exactly what they are doing when it comes to stimulating the female body."
In at number two is professional athletes and sports stars as they are "much more in tune with their bodies and how to move them," which of course helps in the bedroom as much as on the field.
But who gets the coveted top spot?
It may come as a surprise that Katija rates construction workers as the best lovers, explaining: "Who doesn’t love a tradie [construction worker]? There is just something so hot about the thought of a man doing something gritty and manly.
"I think this is a huge part of the allure of the tradie [construction worker] which taps into something primal as a female, as not only do tradies [construction worker] have a real practical job, but it’s seeing a man do manly, rugged things, or a man who works hard and plays harder when he gets home."
Doing such a physically demanding job means they also "typically have a lot of upper body strength" which works well between the sheets, too.
If you (or your man) don't happen to work in one of these industries, all is not lost, however.
Katija confirms that there are always "outliers" who work in desk jobs that are also great in the bedroom.
She explained: "On average, men who are healthier and of good physical fitness tend to be better performers than those who are unhealthy or unfit.
"So, those with jobs that demand peak physical fitness tend to be much better performers than those whose jobs require them to sit down all day. The outliers here are those men with desk jobs who ensure they keep up their physical fitness outside of work."
If you wish to improve your prowess, Katija recommends: "Prioritize endurance training, know how to use what you have got, and don’t be a selfish lover."
That's pretty sage advice.
