The former Spice Girl has commented on the drama with her son, Brooklyn, for the first time.
Victoria Beckham has been at the centre of one of the biggest celebrity family feuds in recent years, after her eldest son took to social media to criticise her and dad David.
It was long reported that there was a rift in the Beckham family, with fans noticing that both Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz no longer attended family gatherings, being absent from recent photos.
In particular, Brooklyn had started to remove all his family posts from social media, as it was reported that he'd even sent a "cease and desist" letter to his A-list parents.
His statement claimed that his parents tried to hijack his relationship, ruined his wedding, and even pressured him to sign his name away and more in the long-winded statement.
Now, Victoria has replied to her son's claims.
Breaking her silence on the situation, Victoria spoke to WSJ Magazine for an interview which was published today (April 16).
"We love our children so much," she said when asked about her relationship with Brooklyn.
Even though she didn't use her son's name, she admitted that she and her husband have tried their best to be good parents to their kids.
She stated: “We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children. And you know, that’s all I really want to say about it.”
Brooklyn, 27; Romeo, 23; Cruz, 22; and Harper, 14, are children to a music icon and a former soccer legend, so they have lived their lives in the public spotlight.
Victoria was asked if she feels sorry for bringing her family into the public eye, to which the fashion designer said: "I wouldn't say it comes with guilt. I'd say that there was a lot of adjusting from my mom and dad when all of a sudden there were paparazzi outside their house.
"We've really taken our families on this ride with us."
The aspiring photographer took to social media to take his feud public, writing a damning statement about his family.
In it, he accused his parents of manipulating the media and controlling narratives.
He described how, for much of his life, he had been subjected to the pressures of living up to a public persona.
Brooklyn said he found relief in finding peace since marrying his wife, Nicola Peltz, and described his life with her as being free from the anxiety he once battled.
Brooklyn even claimed that his parents tried to undermine his marriage to Nicola, claiming that his mother had canceled plans to design Nicola's wedding dress at the last minute.
"I have been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to go to the press, leaving me with no choice but to speak for myself and tell the truth about only some of the lies that have been printed," Brooklyn wrote.
He went on: "My parents have been trying endlessly to ruin my relationship since before my wedding, and it hasn't stopped,
"My mum canceled making Nicola's dress in the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, forcing her to urgently find a new dress."
