Ruby Rose shares update after accusing Katy Perry of sexual assault

Ruby Rose has given another update on her allegations against Katy Perry after accusing the singer of sexually assaulting her years ago.

Perry’s representatives have issued a strong denial of the claims, relating to an alleged incident in an Australian nightclub.

Orange is the New Black star Rose, 40, accused Perry, 41, of sexually assaulting her in a Melbourne nightclub around 20 years ago.

After Perry posted on social media about Justin Bieber’s set at Coachella, Rose said: “Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s*** what she thinks.”

She then explained how the incident took place while she was in her ‘early 20s’ and said: “It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly.

“Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes.”

Explaining Perry’s actions, Rose added: “She didn’t kiss me. She saw me ‘resting’ on my best friends lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face till my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her.

“After it I threw up on her. I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it.

"Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell yall she wasn’t a good person. Instead I got attacked by.. everyone.”

Katy Perry has completely refuted the allegations as ‘lies’

A representative for Perry circulated a statement about the allegations that read: “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies. Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”

Ruby Rose provides the latest update on the proceedings

Now, Rose has taken to Threads once again to give her supporters and followers an update on the case, having now approached the police.

She said: “Hi! Last update on this:

“As of this afternoon, I have finalized all of my reports.

“This means I am no longer able to comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved.

“It’s going to look like I am ignoring everything from supportive messages, to other people’s experiences, but I’m not.

“This is a standard request from the police and in many ways, quite the relief.

“I can start the healing process now.

“And temporary move forward.”

She concluded: “I love you all so much.”
