In a world where monogamy remains the predominant relationship structure, it’s self-evident that many wouldn’t be inclined to share their significant other in a romantic capacity, but what about for adult stars whose job it is to get intimate with other people?
Viral adult creator Lily Phillips has responded to fans’ curiosity about her newly-revealed relationship, explaining that her boyfriend is fully supportive of her work, even when it involves filming sex scenes with other men.
She described their dynamic as emotionally monogamous, despite the nature of her career in the adult industry.
Famous, in part, for having sex with 100 men in one day, the adult star is no prude, and that became clear when she discussed working while having a boyfriend: “I have a boyfriend, but I’m still allowed to get cracked by other men. Because he's super mature, he actually understands that that's what it is - a job.
"I don't have feelings for people when I sleep with them; it’s purely just for content.”
Lily also addressed assumptions about their relationship, making it clear that it’s not based on any particular fetish. “Just to clarify, this isn't a fetish for him”, she explained in a candid “get ready with me” video shared on Instagram. “We are in a monogamous relationship outside of my work, and he's actually super supportive”.
The 24-year-old shared that her boyfriend often shows his support in thoughtful ways after her shoots. She said: “The other day when I came home from doing a gang bang, he had brought me chocolates and written me a lovely, gorgeous card. He just gets that this is my passion.”
She added that he has never asked her to leave the industry and is comfortable with her continuing in her career. As she put it: “I love my job so much; it's not something that I would want to quit for anyone, and he doesn't want me to quit for him or anything like that. He enjoys me enjoying myself.”
Wanting to keep things fair, Lily said she offered him the same freedom, though he declined. She explained: “I have even given him the offer if he would like to be with other people in the bedroom outside of me…and he turned it down.
“He was just like, ‘No, that would be weird. Why would I want to be with anyone else but you?’”
Lily admitted the relationship came unexpectedly, especially since she wasn’t looking to date at the time. She said: “I was kind of sworn off guys.
"It wasn't something that I was looking for at all. I was really happy on my own, so it hit me out of nowhere.”
She finished by expressing how happy she is now, saying: “Honestly, I am so happy I've met him.
"I've never met anyone like him. I am proper in my lover girl era, that’s for sure.”
