Justin Baldoni and his wife, Emily Baldoni, celebrated 13 years of marriage on Monday, July 27, 2026, by sharing heartfelt Instagram tributes to one another. The couple, who married in July 2013, posted wedding throwback photos along with captions that caught the attention of social media users.
The milestones come at a time when the couple has been navigating public legal struggles. They share two children together, daughter Maiya Grace, born in 2015, and son Maxwell Roland-Samuel, born in 2017.
In his Instagram tribute, Justin shared a photo from their wedding festivities. "13 years later… we’re still dancing. ❤️ Happy anniversary, my love. I’m pretty sure this was the exact moment my pants ripped open. 😂 #FinallyTeenagers," the 42-year-old actor wrote.
Emily, 41, shared a black-and-white photograph taken after their wedding ceremony. She captioned the image, "Marriage: still my favorite lift. 😜 Thirteen, baby!!"
Commenters on Emily's post quickly suggested that her choice of words was a jab at Blake Lively. Lively had previously been involved in a legal dispute with Baldoni that started in December 2024.
Part of Lively's allegations included a claim that Baldoni made negative comments about her weight while preparing for a scene in the movie It Ends With Us where he had to pick her up.
One commenter replied to Emily's post, "She’s a savage with the play-on word.. ," while another wrote, "I bet you this lift did not hurt his back!"
Emily has supported her husband through the legal conflict with Lively. The dispute began when Lively filed a complaint against Baldoni and others alleging sexual harassment, followed by what her attorneys called a retaliatory public smear campaign. Lively's sexual harassment claim was later dismissed, and the parties reached a settlement in May.
On July 8, the Baldonis addressed their experiences in an Instagram video. "We are healing," Justin said in the video message. "If you’ve ever been through something traumatic, you know that healing isn’t linear. It looks different every day. We have had to rethink for ourselves what is real, and what matters. It’s this. It’s our family, it’s our friends, it’s our community, who have been there for us, it’s our faith."
Justin previously opened up about his relationship philosophy during an interview with PEOPLE in October 2024. At the time, he compared their long-term bond to a secure structure.
"For my family, we view marriage as a fortress," Justin said. "And a fortress is something that you build yourself, that protects you from the winds of the world, and then the trials and the tests that come your way."
He added that keeping a broader perspective helps keep their relationship grounded. "We’re just people in this big, massive floating rock in the middle of a universe that is constantly expanding that doesn’t have a beginning or an end," he noted. "And then you’re like, oh, okay, well ... "

Newly surfaced footage from It Ends With Us has injected fresh drama into the ongoing legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, flipping parts of the case on its head.
Baldoni, 41 (who both directed and starred in the film) is now using a deleted scene to counter Lively’s claims of misconduct, alleging the actress engaged in the very behavior she says prompted her lawsuit.
According to court filings obtained by the Daily Mail, Baldoni’s legal team submitted a previously unseen video on November 13 as part of a motion for summary judgment.
The minute-long clip, recorded during a May 2023 hospital hallway scene, shows Lively’s character, Lily, approaching Baldoni’s Ryle, grabbing his arms and giving him a brief kiss before walking away.
Baldoni’s team says the moment was entirely unscripted and claims Lively not only approved it on set, but “oversaw” the scene and added the kiss in every take, despite the screenplay containing no such moment.
Lively, who is married to actor Ryan Reynolds, has argued in earlier filings that unwanted improvised kisses were part of a pattern of sexual harassment from Baldoni.
The resurfaced footage comes as Lively continues pressing for sanctions against producer Jamey Heath, alleging he failed to turn over required materials, including a video she says he once showed her on set without consent.
According to a November 3 letter from her team, Heath allegedly played Lively a graphic video of his fully nude wife giving birth at home, which she described as deeply inappropriate, PEOPLE detailed.
Lively’s lawsuit accuses Baldoni of both sexual harassment and retaliation, claims he strongly denies.
When production resumed after the Hollywood strikes, Lively reportedly returned with strict conditions, including a ban on any further improvised kissing.
Baldoni’s team now argues that the newly uncovered clip contradicts her claims.
Earlier this year, Baldoni filed a defamation suit against Lively, Reynolds, and The New York Times over coverage of their conflict, a case ultimately dismissed in June.
Lively suffered a setback last week when a New York judge dismissed her claims against PR strategist Jed Wallace.
She alleged Wallace worked with Baldoni’s team to organize a coordinated online smear campaign during the film’s release.
Judge Lewis J. Liman ruled that Lively’s team failed to establish that Wallace, who lives in Texas, had enough ties to New York to be sued there, though she may still pursue a case in Texas.
A spokesperson for Lively said she is evaluating her options and preparing for a March trial against Baldoni, Heath, Nathan, and other Wayfarer Studios defendants.
The release of the deleted scene follows a separate filing accusing Baldoni and associates of using encrypted apps and auto-deleting communication tools to hide damaging evidence.
Lively’s attorneys argue that Baldoni and his team relied on apps such as Signal, disappearing voice memos, and other digital tools to coordinate a covert effort aimed at discrediting her, Daily Mail writes.

The claims echo similar accusations from a former employee of PR agency Jonesworks LLC, who alleged internal concerns about digital practices tied to the case.
Lawyers for Lively say Baldoni’s group “hid the ball at every turn,” forcing numerous motions over withheld or privileged documents.
It Ends With Us became a major box office hit, grossing $148 million domestically and $350 million worldwide.
But the escalating legal and public feud between its stars has overshadowed much of its success.
The film, based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, follows Lily Bloom (played by Lively) as she builds a new life after a traumatic childhood and begins a relationship with neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni), only to see troubling patterns emerge.
Justin Baldoni's attorney is not playing around amid the legal battle between the actor and his co-star Blake Lively.
It all started when Lively, 37, filed a sexual harassment case against Baldoni, alleging that there was inappropriate behavior from the 40-year-old while he was on set with the former Gossip Girl Alum.
According to the complaint, the production staff and crew of It Ends with Us and Lively's husband Ryan Reynolds were apparently forced to hold a "meeting" to discuss Baldoni's behavior toward Lively, resulting in the actress listing some protective measures while filming alongside him on set.
This included "no more improvising of kissing" and "no more personal, physical touching of, or sexual comments by, Mr. Baldoni or Mr. Heath to be tolerated by [Blake Lively] and/or any of her employees, as well as any female cast or crew without their express consent," per the document.
Other requests included: "No more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by BL outside the scope of the script BL approved when signing onto the project," all of which Baldoni and the filmmakers agreed to.
Lively also claimed in the filing that Baldoni subsequently participated in a "social manipulation" campaign to "destroy" her reputation following the movie's release.
However, just days later, Baldoni hit back with major claims of his own, starting with a $250 million lawsuit against the New York Times for facilitating Lively's claims without doing their due diligence and gathering all the facts before publishing the story.
According to the Independent, the claims the Times "relied almost entirely on Lively’s unverified and self-serving narrative" and disregarded "an abundance of evidence that contradicted her claims and exposed her true motives."
The outlet was also accused of "cherry-picking" text messages out of context, giving the wrong impression to the public in order to defame him.
This is precisely the reason why his attorney appeared on NBC News last week to state that Baldoni will be releasing every text exchange between the pair to help give better context to the situation.
Speaking on behalf of the star, Bryan Freedman said: "We plan to release every single text message between the two of them," in an interview on January 2. "We want the truth to be out there. We want the documents to be out there. We want people to make their determination based on receipts."
Freedman, who filed the suit on his behalf, also told E! News in a statement last month that the newspaper "cowered to the wants and whims of two powerful 'untouchable' Hollywood elites, disregarding journalistic practices and ethics once befitting of the revered publication by using doctored and manipulated texts and intentionally omitting texts which dispute their chosen PR narrative."
His attorney also added that his team would "unite to take down" the NYT, accusing the outlet of embracing "partial truths."
In a counter-statement, the outlet hit back at the lawsuit, stating that they will defend themselves "vigorously."
"We plan to vigorously defend against the lawsuit," the NYT said in a statement posted on January 1. "The role of an independent news organization is to follow the facts where they lead. Our story was meticulously and responsibly reported."
They continued: "It was based on a review of thousands of pages of original documents including the text messages and emails that we quote accurately and at length in the article."

Justin Baldoni has leaked some alleged text messages from Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds as the case takes another dramatic turn.
Lively and Baldoni have been embroiled in legal disputes since December 2024, just months after the release of It Ends With Us.
Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni and his production company, Wayfarer Studios, accusing him of sexual harassment and intimidation.
In response, Baldoni denied the allegations and later sued The New York Times for libel, claiming the publication had unfairly sided with Lively’s account.
He then launched a $400 million lawsuit against Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, alleging civil extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy.
Lively has claimed that Baldoni and his production company engaged in a deliberate effort to tarnish her reputation. Baldoni's team, however, denies these claims and insists that the actress and her husband were instead working to discredit him.
To support his claims, Baldoni has published what he describes as a "timeline of relevant events," which includes text exchanges allegedly between himself, Lively, and Reynolds, per the Independent.
One of the messages shared on the website reportedly shows Reynolds expressing excitement about Lively and Baldoni working together.
In a response to Baldoni’s February 28, 2021, text about collaborating with Lively, Reynolds allegedly wrote: "You've hit the jackpot with B. She literally passes on every film and every filmmaker all the time.
"I'm excited for Blake to crack open her creative piggy bank with someone as dynamic as you. This is gonna be INCREDIBLE. … I happen to adore you, Justin."
Another text exchange focuses on a scene in It Ends With Us that Lively requested to revise. In one alleged message, she wrote: "You OK if I play around with the dialogue to give her a bit more agency and fun and send to you? We can amp up their verbal ping pong/volley."
She followed up in another message, saying: "If you knew me (in person) longer you’d have a sense of how flirty and yummy the ball busting will play. It’s my love language. Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth…."
As tensions escalated, Lively’s talent agency, WME, reportedly demanded that Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios take full responsibility for any negative press about Lively.
According to Baldoni's website, they drafted a statement for him that read in part: "It Ends With Us was a troubled production which we take full accountability for.
"Blake Lively, Colleen Hoover, the entire cast and crew led with professionalism every step of the way, any negativity aimed at them is ours to own. We have always said we are not perfect and even if [we] unintentionally make mistakes, we always own them."
Baldoni’s website had been previously mentioned as a potential legal strategy. Lively’s lawyer, Michael Gottlieb, told the Daily Mail:
"The planned website will release what Mr. Freedman self-servingly proclaims will be 'full unedited WhatsApp, text and email exchanges between Lively and Baldoni,' although neither the media nor public will have any way of knowing which communications Mr. Freedman has selectively omitted from disclosure, including communications that Mr. Freedman and his clients may have deleted."
The first court hearing in the case is scheduled for Monday, February 3.

The Age of Adaline star backed up her claims with alleged receipts that showed screenshots of text conversations between the podcast host, his PR executive Jennifer Abel, and his crisis management expert Melissa Nathan as they discussed what stories they wanted to plant about Lively.
Now, Baldoni's lawyer Bryan Freedman has denied Lively's allegations, calling them "false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt,” in a statement to PEOPLE on December 21.
In a separate statement, Baldoni's lawyer, also added that Lively's complaint was to help "fix her negative reputation".
Freedman added that representatives of Wayfarer Studios "did nothing proactive nor retaliated, and only responded to incoming media inquiries to ensure balanced and factual reporting and monitored social activity."
The attorney continued: "What is pointedly missing from the cherry-picked correspondence is the evidence that there were no proactive measures taken with media or otherwise; just internal scenario planning and private correspondence to strategize which is standard operating procedure with public relations professionals."
Freeman added that Baldoni's PR team "operated as any other crisis management firm would when hired by a client experiencing threats by two extremely powerful people with unlimited resources".
The attorney added that The Agency Group — also known as TAG PR - acted professionally and accordingly, and stated that the public could make up its own mind about Lively, per PEOPLE.
Speaking to The New York Times, Lively spoke of her complaint, stating: "I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted."

As widely reported, the It Ends With Us actor and director, is currently embroiled in a heated lawsuit with Lively, 37, who accused him of sexual harassment.
Baldoni has denied the claims and, in January, countersued both the Gossip Girl alum and her husband, Reynolds, 48, for $400 million, alleging an orchestrated attempt to "destroy" his reputation and career.
Over the weekend, the 41-year-old launched a 168-page timeline on a website titled Lawsuit Info, detailing key moments that he says support his defense against Lively’s claims.
Included in the document are alleged text exchanges between the co-stars, as well as previously unseen conversations between Baldoni and Reynolds, who has been married to Lively for 12 years.

According to the timeline, Reynolds and the Jane The Virgin star exchanged messages in which Reynolds expressed “mutual respect” and gratitude for Baldoni’s collaboration with Lively.
"You’ve been a wonderful collaborator with B, and that means a great deal—to both of us," Reynolds allegedly wrote.

Baldoni described visiting the pair at their apartment, where he claimed the Deadpool star was “enthusiastic” about his wife's rewrites of a key rooftop scene. He also noted that a “mega-celebrity friend" present at the meeting also praised Lively's work.

Tension began to build after Baldoni allegedly asked his personal trainer - who was also a close friend of Lively’s - to inquire about her weight.
He claims this was solely to help him prepare for a physically demanding scene in which he would need to lift her, citing previous back injuries.

Baldoni allegedly met with Reynolds and Lively again, but this time, the interaction took a hostile turn. "How dare you f***ing ask about my wife’s weight? What’s wrong with you?" the Free Guy star allegedly said.
The filmmaker claims that after this confrontation, the lifting scene was cut at Lively and Reynolds’ request.
Shortly afterward, the film went into shutdown due to the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike. Baldoni alleges that during this hiatus, Lively attempted to take over the film creatively.

Upon returning to production, tensions boiled over. Baldoni alleges that in a heated meeting, Reynolds “berated” him and demanded that he apologize to his wife for “actions that either never occurred or had been grossly mischaracterized".
Baldoni also claims that a Sony producer, present during the meeting, later confessed that they “often reflected on the meeting and regretted not intervening to stop Reynolds’ tirade against Baldoni” - calling it “something they had never seen before” in their "40-year" career.

The lawsuit also details how a “content shoot” was organized with Lively and Reynolds’ production company, Maximum Effort.
Sony later attested that the couple were running the shoot. The complaint further claims that the additional content created by the production company went "significantly" over budget.
In a text exchange with Lively, Baldoni claimed she reassured him that Maximum Effort would work for free because “it’s family”.

According to the timeline, Reynolds allegedly escalated things further by calling Baldoni’s personal agent at WME and launching a personal attack by reportedly referring to the actor as a “deranged predator".
A week later, at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere, Baldoni claims that Reynolds approached a senior WME executive and doubled down, allegedly calling him a “sexual predator".
