Anna Camp has opened up about her romantic life, shedding light on her divorce from her husband and becoming romantically involved with a partner 18 years her junior.
The Pitch Perfect star is being open about her emotional journey through two past marriages and her latest relationship with stylist Jade Whipkey.
"A One-Night Stand That Lasted Seven Years"
During a candid appearance on Penn Badgley’s Podcrushed podcast, Camp, 42, described her first marriage to actor Michael Mosley in surprisingly stark terms: “So we met very young, it was like a one-night stand that lasted seven years.”
Camp and Mosley began dating in their early twenties, got engaged in 2008, and tied the knot in 2010.
They eventually divorced in 2013, with Mosley citing "irreconcilable differences."
Looking back, Camp shared: “I changed so much when we both moved from New York to L.A. together... It was really, really, really hard to see someone who met me at such a young age.”
Despite the heartbreak, she insists there's no bad blood.
“He's an actor, a wonderful actor... We’re still pretty close,” she said, adding that the end of their relationship was difficult:
“I wanted to keep that for the rest of my life because that is what I had imagined.”
The two even reunited for the 2024 film Neo-Dome, proving their connection remains intact.
From Co-Stars to Divorce
Camp’s second marriage was to her Pitch Perfect co-star Skylar Astin.
The couple wed in 2016 but announced their split three years later.
In a joint statement to Us Weekly, they said: “We can confirm that we have decided to separate, and this decision was made mutually and amicably.”
Speaking with People at the time, Camp revealed: “It's been really scary and liberating at the same time. I feel more me than I ever have. It's a vulnerable place to be, but it's also very empowering.”
She added, “I've learned that you can go through a life change and remain positive and remain kind and friendly.”
Following the split, she was briefly linked to musician Michael Johnson.
New Love, New Chapter: Anna and Jade Go Public
Camp has since confirmed she is in a relationship with 24-year-old stylist Jade Whipkey, marking her first public romance since her 2019 divorce.
The couple first teased their relationship in February during a TikTok interview, where Camp said: “Well, I don't expect anything from a guy anymore because I'm dating a woman and it's great.”
Since then, the couple has gone public on social media, sharing sweet moments - from dinner dates to cozy photos.
Whipkey posted a picture of Camp across the table during a romantic evening, captioned: “Her smile is a poem, her eyes are roses, her laugh is music for dancing.”
Camp reposted the story, confirming their relationship to her nearly one million Instagram followers.
In May, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Bride Hard premiere in Los Angeles, sparking both celebration and criticism online.
Facing the Backlash: Camp Defends Her Relationship
Their 18-year age gap quickly became a hot topic on social media.
One commenter wrote: “I’m sorry, Anna Camp is almost 20 yrs older than her partner? Yeah. I think that’s nasty.”
Another added: “Why are actors allergic to dating people their own age... Anna Camp dating a 24-year-old is weird.”
Camp addressed the criticism head-on in the comments of a Pink News post: “I’ve dated men exactly my age, and Jade is FAR more mature than any of them.
"We have more in common than anyone else I’ve ever dated and can literally talk about anything and everything.”
She added: “Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and I’m wishing everyone well. Especially this Pride month.”
