Pop star Alex Warren shared an awkward moment on the red carpet during Sunday's 2026 MTV Video Music Awards with his wife.
The annual awards event, which was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, featured several noteworthy moments.

The 68-year-old leaned into the online criticism, taking time to make an NSFW joke while accepting one of her seven award wins, 'pulling' a laser out of her behind after sporting one in her performance.
But aside from the 'Like a Prayer' artist remaining a talking point of the awards, a younger artist made headlines for a mishap involving his partner.
Warren could be seen posing with his wife, Kouvr Annon, as paparazzi got their snaps in of the happy couple.
The US artist, who made headlines for putting on a below-par performance at February's Grammy Awards, was smiling alongside Annon.
Soon, one photographer asked Warren to pose for 'a couple [of] solo' photos, suggesting his wife move to the side.
This caused a bit of an awkward moment between the pair, which can be seen in footage posted by The Hollywood Reporter.
Annon looked visibly confused before a short exchange with Warren led to her stepping to the side and letting the media get their solo snaps in.
Warren didn't look too pleased by the photographer's orders before letting out a slight smile while sporting a black sports coat and tailored barrel-shaped trousers.
The pair have been married since 2024, the same year Warren shot to fame before cementing his place in the industry with releases such as 'Ordinary' in 2025.
The artist didn't perform at Sunday's awards, and while he didn't walk away with any awards, he did present one.
Warren made his debut at this year's Grammy Awards, though technical issues seemingly threw a spanner in the works for his performance.
The former YouTuber was performing his hit single 'Ordinary' when he struggled to hear properly via his in-ear pieces.
This is essential for musicians to hear themselves in loud environments while also protecting their hearing.
But during his performance in February, he couldn't hear himself, hindering his ability to perform.
He wasn't pleased, and he could be seen struggling with his battery pack, which was concealed and inconveniently placed under the back of his jacket.
Warren's frustration was clear for all to see, as he yanked one of the in-ear monitors out while trying to rectify his tech issue.
